The mood, intrigue and pacing are as good as Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy
Credit must also be given to the location scouts, Slough House is exactly as I imagined it. I really enjoyed these books and I am happy that they were not overdone by Hollywood as is often the case with these types of productions.

They retained the grime and humor that made the books so enjoyable.
