Chronology
On an island of rich and poor, teenager John B asks his three best friends for help in the search for a legendary treasure related to his father’s disappearance. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline and their “OBX” co-stars ask each other about their best lines from the hit Netflix series. It was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina; it was originally set to be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina.
I’ve never stopped
Like you, I was at home watching Netflix and Prime. I’ve seen everything under the sun. This series just came out on Netflix and I started watching it.
It’s a fun and enjoyable series
The cast is outstanding…every actor gives a brilliant performance. The story moves at an interesting pace until the end, but in retrospect, each episode could have been special…in its own right. This is a remarkable achievement and kudos to the writers.
It’s a tough genre to classify
It’s rated M, but there’s no nudity or gore. I don’t see any reason why a 13 year old wouldn’t watch this. It’s funny, has lots of mini-adventures, lots of mishaps, romance, shipwrecks, storms, fires, shootings, beer parties, prisons, boys saving girls, girls saving boys, parents being devils, parents being angels, treasure maps…
Perfect for quarantine
